ECLOF Ecuador
ECLOF Ecuador is a small not-for-profit MFI. From its office in Quito, 6 staff serve clients across 8 of the 24 provinces of Ecuador. ECLOF Ecuador caters to urban and rural micro businesses and smallholder farmers, providing financial and related non-financial services. One third of clients stem from indigenous communities of Inca descent. Most agricultural clients are organized in farmer associations or agricultural cooperatives. Besides giving out loans, ECLOF trains clients on financial literacy, organic farming practices and gaining access to markets.
