The team of ECLOF Philippines, Baguio branch, carried joy and learning to children in the remote community of Sagpat in Kibungan, Benguet. 180 students and 25 school personnel attended the “Children’s Day: Smart Kids, Strong Communities” at Sagpat Integrated School. ECLOF staff unveiled 8 rubber mats for martial arts training and physical education and distributed essential school supplies like notebooks and hygiene kits, to help ease the financial burden on families.
The day was filled with more than just giving. It featured fun games, a brief introduction to ECLOF’s mission and vision, and a shared meal that brought smiles and connections. Despite logistical challenges and unpredictable weather, the event succeeded – thanks to the dedication of ECLOF Baguio staff and other volunteers.
More than a one-time outreach, the event reflected ECLOF’s commitment to human dignity and community empowerment. By going beyond financial services, ECLOF continues to serves as true development partner -uplifting lives.
As children laughed, and gratitude poured in from parents and teachers, one message stood out: small acts of service can spark lasting impact.
