Here are the inspiring journeys of three remarkable clients:

Florisvaldo França: A resident of Coarací-BA, Florisvaldo has been a client of Banco do Povo since 2016. He operates two stores in the town’s trade center, selling beer, soft drinks, mineral water, sweets, flour, and cereals. Despite facing personal hardships, including the loss of his wife and father, Florisvaldo remained committed to his business and his credit obligations. He has consistently renewed his credit every cycle and always pays his installments on time. Florisvaldo thanks Banco do Povo for supporting him throughout the years and standing beside him despite his challenges. This was only possible because of Florisvaldo’s entrepreneurial spirit, which has continually driven progress in his business.

Rosemeire Santana Agra: A resident of Novo Horizonte in Itabuna-BA, has been a Banco do Povo client since 2021. She began her business in 2001, selling sweets and drinks from her home, with the dream of establishing a business outside her home. With Banco do Povo’s financial and training support, Rosemeire organized her finances and purchased a plot of land to set up her shop. In 2023, she successfully built her own store and expanded her offerings to include cereals alongside sweets and drinks. She expresses her gratitude to Banco do Povo for her success. We believe that her determination led to her achievements.

Maria Lúcia from Ilhéus-BA, started her business selling clothes door-to-door 18 years ago. Over time, she gained a loyal customer base and reliable suppliers, always aspiring to have a fixed commercial location. She eventually rented a spot in the Malhado market. When Banco do Povo began assisting micro entrepreneurs in the Ilhéus region in 2017, Maria Lúcia seized the opportunity to make significant improvements to her business. She continues to work diligently, aiming to expand to a more central area and attract a new audience, with Banco do Povo’s ongoing support.

These stories exemplify the perseverance of Banco do Povo- ICC Itabuna Solidaria’s clients. Their entrepreneurial journeys are a testament to the power of financial inclusion. Each achievement reflects their unwavering commitment to their dreams, encouraging other micro entrepreneurs to pursue their own goals.
