In 2025, one of our blog stories received exceptional attention on the ECLOF website. The article about the Tree Planting Initiative in Polillo, Philippines became our most viewed post of the year, with over 3,500 views.

People connected with this story because it showed how clients, staff, and local partners came together to plant trees, and help protect the environment. It was an example of how community engagement can create positive impact. The project also highlights ECLOF Philippines work in supporting people’s livelihoods while also caring for nature.

This initiative supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
- SDG 13: Climate Action – protecting the environment and building resilience
- SDG 15: Life on Land – planting trees and restoring natural areas
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – working together with communities and partners
As we continue to share the work of ECLOF members worldwide, projects like the Polillo tree planting remind us how small, local efforts can gain global attention and inspire others.

Status Today: The planted mangrove seedling has successfully emerged.
