May 2025, EFUND Armenia, one of the two founders of ECLOF Armenia and partner of ECLOF International, has officially become a member of the European Microfinance Network (EMN), a member-based NGO which promotes microfinance as a tool to fight social and financial exclusion in Europe. This membership strengthens ECLOF Armenia’s ability to adopt best practices and modern methodologies in microfinance that enhance both operational efficiency and social impact.
EFUND’s membership in EMN is driven by its mission to invest in financial institutions dedicated to microfinance and social objectives. As part of EMN’s investment-focused working groups, EFUND aims to contribute to shaping the European microfinance landscape while reinforcing ECLOF Armenia’s strategies.
The upcoming EMN Annual Conference in October 2025 will provide a valuable occasion for ECLOF Armenia to deepen its understanding of European microfinance operations. ECLOF Armenia’s Executive Director, attending at EFUND’s invitation, will have an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in organizational strategies, working styles, and innovative solutions that have proven effective across the sector.
ECLOF Armenia’s prior collaboration with the Microfinance Center (MFC) already established a strong foundation for international partnerships. Now, with EMN membership, ECLOF Armenia expects substantial benefits, including participation in specialized training programs, access to high-quality advisory services, and exposure to cutting-edge methodologies and technologies in microfinance. These opportunities will enable ECLOF Armenia to refine its practices and integrate the most relevant approaches into its operations.
ECLOF Armenia considers EMN membership as an advancement towards strengthening its institutional capabilities while aligning with international standards. As Armenia progresses on its European path, ECLOF Armenia intends to stands at the forefront, committed to embracing modern, efficient, and socially impactful financial solutions.
