ECLOF Armenia attends a joint event by the EMN and the CDFA

From June 23 to 25, 2010 the European Microfinance Network (EMN) and the Community Development Financial Association (CDFA) held an annual joint conference in London on the theme "2010: A Changing Europe combating poverty, supporting enterprise".

ECLOF Armenia was invited to participate at this event and our General Director in Armenia, Mr Tigran Hovhannisyan (left on the photo), headed the delegation.

EMN is a grassroots network comprising 87 member-institutions that play an extremely active role in the microfinance industry today. Its partners and supporters notably include the European Commission, the Levi Strauss Foundation, MicroBank, Lloyds, BIS (the Department for Business Innovation & Skills), BNP Paribas, EIF, Charity Bank, RBS,  Barclays, Unity Trust, and Crédit Coopératif. 

The EMN and the CDFA welcomed more than 300 participants to this event, among them microfinance practitioners, bankers, researchers, investors, local governments and the European Commission representatives, policy makers, as well as representatives of the private sector.
