As
ECLOF is a Christian-based organisation, one of the main speakers
at the recent first-ever ECLOF Managers' international workshop
considered the meaning of a Christian lending institution.

small-scale dairy projects have adopted an eco-friendly practice
known as 'zero grazing'.

Kenya
Attorney General at Africa Regional Workshop  
The Hon. Amos Wako, Attorney General of Kenya and a former
ECLOF Kenya Board member, has challenged church leaders and
politicians to promote equal opportunities for all.

help from an ECLOF Philippines loan, the group purchased a
new motorised banca (small fishing boat) and all the fishing
gear required to be able to fish in deeper waters.
ECLOF
International Board Restructures
 At
its meeting on 8 and 9 October, the ECLOF Board of Directors
concluded proposals for restructuring Board membership with
effect from 1 January, 1999.
